OUR Metals
Porana uses 14K, 18K solid gold, Platinum 950 and Silver 925

GOLD

Gold is a timeless choice. Because pure gold (24k) is naturally soft, we use 18k and 14k gold to ensure your jewelry is strong enough for everyday wear. We blend pure gold with durable metals like silver and copper to create pieces that last a lifetime.

Caring for Gold
Gold is natural and precious, so it deserves a little care. We recommend removing your jewelry before using harsh chemicals like chlorine or cleaning products. To restore its luster, simply wash it with warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush. When you aren't wearing your pieces, keep them safe in a soft cloth bag or their original box.

The Colors of Gold

-
Yellow Gold: We mix pure gold with copper and silver to create this signature warm, sunny glow. It’s a classic choice that radiates rich shine.
-
White Gold: For a sleek, silvery-white finish, we combine gold with white metal alloys and plate it with rhodium—an extremely hard, rare element. This creates a brilliant, reflective surface.
-
Rose Gold: We achieve this romantic pink hue by increasing the copper alloy in the mix. It captures a soft, modern warmth that complements every skin tone.
-
Champagne Gold: a soft, muted, warm beige-yellow alloy, a blend between yellow and rose gold, offering a vintage, subtle glow that's warmer than white gold but less bright(vivid) than traditional yellow, making it versatile for all skin tones, especially popular for elegant, everyday wear and bridal pieces.

PLATINUM
Platinum is the ultimate symbol of enduring love. Its natural white sheen never fades or changes color, making it a perfect accent for the brilliance of a diamond.

Why We Love It
-
Pure & Hypoallergenic: Our platinum is 95% pure. It is naturally hypoallergenic, making it the ideal choice for sensitive skin.
-
Secure & Dense: Platinum is incredibly dense and durable. It provides the most secure setting for your precious gemstones.
-
A Unique Patina: Over time, platinum develops a soft, satin finish known as a patina. Many love this unique character, but you can easily restore the original high-gloss shine with a quick buffing.
Caring for Platinum
Maintaining platinum is effortless. Soak your piece in a mild solution of warm soapy water and gently scrub it with a soft-bristled brush to bring back its sparkle.
SILVER
We use Sterling Silver (925), the world standard for high-quality silver jewelry. It combines 92.5% pure silver with a small amount of copper to add strength without compromising its beautiful color.

Our Finish
To give you the best of both worlds, our silver jewelry is often plated with luxurious finishes including yellow gold, rose gold, bright rhodium, or black rhodium. This adds an extra layer of style and protection.

Caring for Silver
With proper love, your silver will last a lifetime. Store your pieces in a cloth pouch or a separate jewelry box compartment to minimize scratches. Avoid exposing silver to household bleach, ammonia, or chlorinated water, as these can damage the metal.
